Adults Ask:
For Elementary: This week we learn about the Angel visiting Mary. Mary may not have fully understood all of God’s plan, but she did know that God would be with her. Mary celebrated because God was using her to fulfill His plan and purpose for the world.
Why was Mary singing a song to God? Was the song a celebration song?
What would your response be if an angel came to you and gave you a message from God?
What do we know about God’s plan? How is Jesus part of God’s plan?
For Preschoolers: Today we learned about the birth of Jesus! The greatest gift ever born; the evidence of God’s love for us.
Baby Jesus was born in a stable. What kinds of animals do you think lived there?
Come up with some ways that God has shown His love to you. Share them with your preschooler. Ask them to name a few ideas also.
What is your favorite thing about Christmas?
Kids Ask:
When was the last time you felt like you were in the midst of God’s presence?
Is it possible to experience the presence of God anywhere? And at any time?
What do you love most about God? When was the last time you thanked Him for who He is?
