Sermon Recap
William Booth founder of the Salvation Army said, “I’m not waiting for a move of God; I am a move of God.” That statement sounds like it came from someone who experienced revival. What was William Booth saying? He was saying it’s time for Spirit-Filled believers to stop looking for revival and realize that you are the Revival that God wants to pour out on this world. You carry the power of Revival in You, As long as the Holy Spirit is your source.
John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church, after his Aldersgate experience which he describes as his heart being strangely warmed during an encounter with the Holy Spirit, went out and began preaching the fire of God. He did not seek more experiences; instead, he became revival, and the first Great Awakening was underway. In fact Wesley was so successful that within 150 years, there were more Methodists than the population of England in his day.
Charles Finney, who was instrumental in the 2nd Great Awakening, was a lawyer who experienced liquid waves of God’s love washing over him. Again he encountered the Holy Spirit. After this experience, he did not feel the need to seek more experiences but took what he had and gave it away. He spoke the Word of God with simplicity using everyday illustrations helping others to receive what he had been given. By the end of his life, he had led a million souls into the kingdom. Both John Wesley and Charles Finney became revival.
Charles Spurgeon said, “Beloved, as an on-fire believer, you need not pray for more fire; instead, share the fire you already have!”
You have God’s power! We have been experiencing revival over the last 21 weeks. This has been a season where so many are experiencing a death to life scenario in their spiritual lives. God is moving, reviving, turning small flames into raging spiritual fires. God has sourced you with His powerful Holy Spirit, He has given you His authority, He has seated you with Christ in the heavenlies and we rule and reign in life with Him. Realize today that you are in Christ and Christ is in you! You are the revival the world is looking for.

Discussion Questions
Discuss together, pushing yourself toward transparency. The more we are authentic and humble with one another, the more we can grow in Christ.
From the scriptures you read above we find how important it is to gain spiritual revelation from God. That means you must be sourced by the Holy Spirit each day. What happens in daily life that would cause us to feel unsourced by the Holy Spirit?
What are some specific or intentional things we can do this week that will help us stay sourced by the Holy Spirit and live with daily revelation?
How important is it to live with a Kingdom perspective vs a worldly perspective? What areas of life are impacted and how are they impacted when we choose to live from a Kingdom perspective?
Prayer
Today, Jesus I pray that you would give me Kingdom revelation as I encounter people, situations, and challenges. I want to make all my decisions based on your Word and your heart’s desires. Help me to recognize, hear, and listen to the Holy Spirit as He speaks to me. Give me the courage to walk in obedience as I follow You! In Jesus name, AMEN.
